North Pole Postmark Adds Magical Touch to Holiday Cards
Cards and Letters Must Have Correct Postage and Be Addressed

To receive the North Pole postmark on your holiday cards:
- Personalize your greeting cards.
- Place each card inside a sealed envelope, affix a holiday postage stamp and address the envelopes to those on your mailing list.
- Mail all envelopes together in a larger envelope, box, Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express package addressed to:

Please ensure appropriate postage is affixed to the larger envelope or box. Requests must be received in Anchorage by Dec. 11 in order to ensure delivery by Christmas. The Postal Service receives hundreds of thousands of requests each year for North Pole postmarks from around the world. The service is provided at no cost. Each card or letter must have the correct amount of postage and be addressed. Once postmarked the cards and letters are returned to the mailstream for delivery.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
