This holiday season, from Saturday, Nov. 26 to Friday, Jan. 5, Postal Service stamp-canceling equipment will postmark stamps nationwide when you mail a first-class letter or package with this holiday-themed postmark:
How to get address-specific postmarks
Customers wanting a special holiday postmark on their greeting cards need to do the following:
- Personalize greeting card, seal in an envelope and print addresses on envelope.
- Place postage stamp on each envelope.
- Mail all addressed greeting cards together in a larger envelope or Priority Mail package to the appropriate address.
- Mail the package no later than Dec. 10. After Dec. 10, please use Priority Mail Express®.

Special holiday postmarks
Customers interested in obtaining a special postmark on their greeting cards this year have several options:
- The holiday favorite postmark from the North Pole features Santa’s face in a half-moon shape, “Season’s Greetings” — “North Pole Station” — North Pole, AK 99705
- Special holiday postmarks from postmasters around the country. Please check back later for more details. Post office locations usually start processing holiday postmarks after the last Saturday in November.
